About Murphy
Murphy Pines is a queer, trans Korean visual artist, director, game designer, animator and comics writer. Their work spans across all mediums, from interactive narratives to mixed-media paintings and sculptures. The unrelenting tenderness, compassion and simple universality in their work makes the perfect soft landing and home for darker themes surrounding trauma, grief, pain and other complex and difficult emotions. Infused with fierce vulnerability, their art serves as a reminder that no matter what, we are never alone.
